Andy began his career playing USO shows at the age of 16. By the age of 17 he landed his first major gig with Archie Bell and the Drells. He has since worked with Billy Preston, John Lee Hooker, Bobby Green (Stevie Wonder), Little John Chrisley, Greg Douglass (Steve Miller, Van Morrison), Jeff Bova (Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson), John Cipollina, and many others.

As President of Porter Prescott, Inc. he has successfully placed his product "Tow Truck in a Box" into over 30,000 stores. He has ran nationwide infomercials and participated extensively in NASCAR to brand products. With vast experience in retail distribution and marketing, he has placed products in store chains such as Wal-Mart and True Value Hardware.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Rock Against Trafficking for the past 6 years, Andy also serves on the advisory board of the Listen for Life Foundation, a nonprofit group of global musicians seeking to save musical cultures from extinction. Andy also enjoys performing in his all-star Blues + R&B band, producing concerts to raise money for children's charities.
